We’ve almost finished packing our bags this morning. Brent and I are headed to North Carolina for one last trip to visit friends and family before our darling girl arrives.
On the docket for the next few days: lunch & dinner plans with old friends, my dad is getting remarried to a lovely lady, my grandparent’s celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary (how amazing is that?), a baby shower for Evie, an early thanksgiving celebration cooked by Brent’s grandmother DotDot and plans to eat as much NC BBQ, Bojangles, Chic-fil-a and sweet tea that we can hold!
I’m hoping to blog when I can, but it’ll be a little quiet this week. Please send positive, comfy thoughts my way today as I am cramming this big, round body of mine into an airplane seat for 6+ hours. Sounds like fun doesn’t it? Fortunately, I’ve got Brent along for the ride and he doesn’t know it yet, but I’m totally planning to crouch on some of his seat space too. (And based on that scenario, he could probably use some positive, comfy thoughts too.)
See you guys soon!
Love,
M
Looks like you do the same thing my husband and I do everytime we go home to North Carolina… eat all the BBQ, Chick-fil-A and Bojangles that we can! Can’t wait until Christmas so we can do the same!
